My View. My Lens. My Perspective

I have always loved photography.  It is more than just taking pictures and being in pictures but I have always loved the idea of capturing people, places, and things from my perspective.  When I was younger and I would pose for photos, I always had an idea of how I should pose. I have always had a vision of what could look good in a photo.  So quite naturally, as a blogger, I love putting together outfits and taking photos of them.

Last year for mother’s day I treated myself to a new camera. I bought a Canon DSLR Ti5 and I love it! It is the perfect starter camera for a novice like me, it is pretty simple to use and pretty lightweight.   The camera was exactly what I needed to jumpstart me in this process.  It has been a wonderful experience to learn about lighting, shutter speed, ISO, focal lengths, etc.

So, I hope I have inspired you in some way to take a look at yourself. Think about the things you love to do. What inspires you? What motivates you? What would you like to learn how to do?  Don’t let the fear of not knowing how to do something hold you back. Check out my photography page on Instagram @hercamerasview
